Description

This 1975 wine comes Château Hortevie, one of the best small estates in St-Julien in Bordeaux. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc and is matured in oak barriques. Hortevie produces a stylish, elegant and refined St-Julien that has a subtle cedarwood-scented nose and is ripe, harmonious and balanced on the palate.

Château Hortevie is a distinguished wine estate situated in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, France. With a history dating back centuries, the estate has garnered acclaim for its production of high-quality red wines. Spanning approximately 8 hectares, the vineyard benefits from well-drained gravelly soils, ideal for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grapes. Château Hortevie's wines are renowned for their elegance, structure, and aging potential, reflecting the unique terroir of the Saint-Julien region.
