The 1975 Castello di Meleto Chianti is a mature expression of Sangiovese, showcasing well-developed tertiary characteristics. Expect aromas of dried red cherries, leather, tobacco, and earthy forest floor, with hints of balsamic, dried herbs, and subtle spice. The tannins have softened over time, creating a smooth and elegant texture, while the acidity remains lively, providing freshness and balance. A refined and classic aged Chianti.
