Description
The 1925 Marqués de Riscal Rioja is a late release from the 1925 vintage wine from one of the oldest and most renowned wineries in Spain, located in the Rioja region. Marqués de Riscal is known for its excellent quality and tradition, and the 1925 vintage would be an extremely rare and valuable bottle today, cherished by collectors and connoisseurs of aged wines.
The wine shows a brick or tawny hue due to its age, indicative of oxidation and the maturation process. On the nose expect complex aromas such as dried fruits, leather, tobacco, and spices, along with tertiary notes like earthiness and mushroom. On teh palate, the tannins would be soft, with flavors of dried red and black fruits, possibly figs or prunes, alongside subtle oak, vanilla, and leather. A lingering, elegant finish with well-integrated acidity.
