Description

This exceptional Barolo displays a deep garnet core with amber highlights, reflecting over fifty years of careful ageing. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of dried red cherries, rose petal, gentle spice, leather, and subtle earthy notes of forest floor and tobacco. The palate is rich yet refined, with softened tannins supporting flavours of candied cherry, orange zest, hints of truffle, and cedar. The finish is long, layered, and elegant, showcasing the wine’s depth, finesse, and classic Nebbiolo character.

Decanting: Stand the bottle upright for 24 hours to allow sediment to settle. Decant gently through a fine strainer and allow 1–2 hours to breathe. Serve at 16–18°C to fully reveal its complex aromas and refined structure.
