The 1975 Barolo from Giordano represents the enduring appeal of traditional Nebbiolo from one of Piedmont’s most established family houses. Crafted in the classic style of the period — long maceration, gentle ageing in large Slavonian oak, and bottle release only after years of quiet refinement — it speaks to a winemaking philosophy rooted in patience and authenticity.

In the glass, it shows a transparent garnet core with amber and brick reflections, characteristic of fully mature Barolo. The bouquet is complex and inviting, offering aromas of dried cherry, rose petal, cedar, and tobacco leaf, with evolving layers of truffle, leather, and warm spice as it opens.
