Verduno. Tasted blind. Deep ruby with orange tinges. Finely spiced, dark fruit on the nose with minerally, earthy hints and just a touch of liquorice. Elegant mid-weight palate with perfumed, dark fruit and tangy, almost racy acidity. The long, chewy tannins are perfectly reined in. (WS)
