  • Description

The 2020 Vietti Barolo Monvigliero is an especially fine wine from the renowned Monvigliero vineyard in Verduno, a prized cru within the Barolo region. This vintage is notable for its delicate and nuanced profile, achieved through the use of 60% whole-cluster fermentation and aging for 24 months in large oak casks.

    Tasting Notes:
The wine presents a pale ruby hue and offers an aromatic bouquet of crushed raspberries, wild strawberries, rose petals, and violets. On the palate, it reveals layers of red currants, pomegranate, and subtle sweet spices, supported by silky tannins and bright acidity, culminating in a harmonious and elegant finish.

    Serving & Food Pairing:
Decant for 2h and serve at room temperature. It pairs exceptionally well with rich dishes such as roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses. This Barolo is approachable now but also possesses the structure to develop further with cellaring making it a valuable addition to any connoisseur's collection.
