  • Description

Matured in a cool cathedral-style bodega, hallmark of Andalucian maturation process, the 1994 Gran Reserva PX is a hugely complex and intense wine, made with Pedro Ximénez grapes harvested in mid-August and laid under the sun for 7 to 9 days to concentrate all their sugars. After the press, it was left to rest for 12 months in stainless steel tanks and, when the period came to an end, it was stored in American oak butts for 27 years.

The result is a concentrated luscious wine with mahogany colour and iodized tones, revealing pronounced aromas of raisinsined fruits, orange peel citrus, liquorice, coffee, cinnamon and cocoa, with a sweet, velvety taste. Lip-smackingly good!

    Serving & Food Pairing:
Serve your PX wine slightly chilled between 12-14º C. A dessert in itself it is the perfect way to finish a meal but also an ideal pairing with dark chocolate and light blue cheeses.
