This mature white Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the historic Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe is a rare and compelling expression of the southern Rhône. A blend of Clairette, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, and Bourboulenc, the 2007 vintage is now fully evolved, offering a rich, golden hue and a complex nose of baked orchard fruit, orange peel, chamomile, and subtle honeyed notes. The palate is broad and textured, with layers of pear compote, toasted nuts, and a long, savoury finish underscored by saline minerality.

This bottle is in its ideal drinking window, appealing to lovers of well-aged Rhône whites. It pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, seafood in cream sauces, or aged Alpine cheeses.
