Description

The Delaforce 2016 Vintage Port is a notable expression from this historic producer, known for its rich and robust character. While specific reviews for the 2016 vintage are limited, the 2016 Port vintage overall was exceptional and widely declared by major Port houses.

This vintage is characterized by its deep, almost black color and rich flavors of blackcurrant and dark red berries. It's noted for its medium body, attractive citrus tones, very good acidity, and soft tannins, making it fresh and appetizing.

For optimal enjoyment, it's recommended to store the wine horizontally at a constant temperature of around 15ºC and serve it between 15ºC and 18ºC. It pairs well with blue cheese, mature cheddar, nuts, and chocolate desserts.
