Description

The *1947 Koppenhagens Vintage Port* is a rare and historic fortified wine from the post-war era, representing a unique chapter in the history of the Douro. Produced in one of the warmest and most generous vintages of the mid-20th century, this Port has spent over seven decades maturing gracefully in bottle, developing the deep complexity, elegance, and charm that only long-aged Vintage Port can offer. Bottles from this year are exceptionally scarce, making it a prized acquisition for collectors and connoisseurs alike.

In the glass, it would likely display a deep tawny-mahogany hue, shading to an olive-green rim—classic markers of an ancient Port.
