The *1998 Antinori Solaia* is a magnificent example of one of Italy’s most celebrated Super Tuscans, crafted from the sun-drenched hills of the Antinori family’s Tenuta Tignanello estate. Produced from a masterful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Franc, Solaia is only made in exceptional vintages, and 1998 stands out as a year of elegance, depth, and perfect ripeness. Now with over 25 years of bottle age, this wine offers a rare opportunity to experience Solaia at its mature peak, where its bold fruit has evolved into extraordinary complexity.

In the glass, it reveals a deep garnet core with brick-red edges, signalling its maturity. The bouquet is intensely layered, opening with ripe blackcurrant, plum, and blackberry compote, intertwined with notes of cedar, tobacco leaf, leather, and sweet spice.
