  • Description

The 1980 Dupeyron Armagnac is the expression of a single year and has a unique character associated with the year and the cask in which it has been stored. These vintages are bottled at the alcohol level in which they naturally come out of the cask.

    Tasting Notes
There is a wonderful contrast between the sweet and sour flavours of wood, amplified by the strong alcoholic degree. Rich palate feeling the alcohol and the concentration of dry plums, spicy with persistent flavour of rancio and of spices, but round, soft and long in the finish. The tannins are very present, but full-bodied and round.

    Serving & Food Pairing
Serve at room temperature in a tulip-shaped glass to concentrate the aromas and enjoy it with dark chocolate, rich desserts, or even a fine cigar to complement its flavours.

Maison Ryst-Dupeyron, a prestigious Armagnac house in Gascony, France, has a rich history dating back to 1832. After a devastating fire destroyed their cellars in 1904, they discovered that barrels hidden in nearby vineyards had exceptional qualities. This led to the creation of "Armagnac de terroir," or "Armagnac of the land," which showcases the family's resilience and commitment to producing exceptional Armagnac.

    How to store your Armagnac
Store the bottle upright to minimize contact between the spirit and the cork. This reduces the risk of the cork deteriorating. Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place, ideally between 15-20°C and avoid temperature fluctuations. Store the bottle away from direct sunlight and artificial light.
