The 1972 Single Harvest Tawny Port is made from the very finest wines from the Graham’s vineyards, and is the result of the unique terroir of the Douro Valley and subsequent maturation in Vila Nova de Gaia, that has distinguished Graham’s for almost two centuries.

The 1972 Colheita shows a vivid, rich amber colour, with a suggestion of a green tinge on the rim. On the nose an explosion of multiple aromas, a combination of caramel, nuts, hints of vanilla and cigar box. Port from 1971 is extremely rare. We became aware of a small quantity that was acquired by Fernando van Zeller in early 2021 from a family owned vineyard. Recently certified by the IVDP, it is one of the few Colheita Ports from 1971 in existence.

Tasting Notes
This is a Port matured in cask for five decades. Medium Tawny colour with aromatic notes of coffee, molasses, figs and cigar box. An elegant light-bodied port with integrated acidity and a subtle texture. Long, smooth finish.
