Description

A 1965 Barolo from Cavour Vezza - Veglio Pasquale is a fascinating and rare bottle, offering an incredibly complex and nuanced tasting experience after nearly six decades of aging. As with other Barolos of this age, it would have developed rich tertiary characteristics, showcasing the full maturation of the Nebbiolo grape.

Decant the wine carefully to remove sediment, but do so gently to avoid overexposure to air, as older wines can be quite fragile. Serve in a large glass to allow the wine to fully express its aromas. This Barolo would pair wonderfully with mature cheeses, truffle dishes, or roasted game, but it could also be enjoyed on its own to appreciate its delicate and intricate character.
