Description
To Produce Barolo Parussi, Massolino left the confines of Serralunga, choosing a vineyard in Castiglione Falletto. Massolino’s share of Parussi is at the top of the hill, with a south-east/south-west exposition, and an average vine age of 40 years. The Parussi forms a beautiful counterpoint to its renowned Serralunga expressions.
Tasting Notes:
Deep, red plum, bright cherry and accents of violet and blueberry create an enchanting, lifted feeling. The texture is ultra-graceful, promising a brilliant future. Drink 2025 – 2040+.
Serving & Food Pairing:
It is best to decant and serve it at temperatures between 18-20°C. It will pair wonderfully with
Braised Veal Shanks (Osso Buco), Wagyu Beef Steak, Duck Breast with Orange Sauce, Pappardelle with Wild Boar Ragu, Grilled Eggplant with Thyme and Parmesan or mushroom risotto.
