The Barros 2002 Vintage Port has a 95% opaque centre, just starting to change colour on the rim. Lovely and open on the nose, softly fruity. Silky texture on the palate with lovely fruit and a good balance. The flavours and complexity grows really well with violets all over the palate. A lingering aftertaste and finish which is full of slightly spicy red licorice. 90/100. www.ThePortForum review.
