Description
This mature Chianti Riserva shows a deep ruby colour with garnet highlights, reflecting over fifty years of careful ageing. On the nose, it offers refined aromas of dried cherries, plum, subtle spice, leather, and hints of earth and tobacco. The palate is smooth and balanced, with softened tannins supporting flavours of stewed red fruits, orange zest, and gentle earthy notes. The finish is long, harmonious, and elegant, highlighting the wine’s depth, finesse, and classic Sangiovese character.
Decanting: Stand the bottle upright for 24 hours to allow sediment to settle. Decant gently through a fine strainer and allow 1–2 hours to breathe. Serve at 16–18°C to fully enjoy its aromatics and refined structure.
