Description
This mature Chianti Riserva shows a deep ruby colour with garnet highlights, reflecting over fifty years of careful ageing. On the nose, it reveals aromas of dried cherries, plum, gentle spice, leather, and subtle earthy notes. The palate is smooth and balanced, with softened tannins carrying flavours of stewed red fruits, hints of orange zest, and delicate forest floor nuances. The finish is long, harmonious, and refined, highlighting the wine’s depth, finesse, and classic Sangiovese character.
Decanting: Stand the bottle upright for 24 hours to allow sediment to settle. Decant carefully through a fine strainer and allow 1–2 hours to breathe. Serve at 16–18°C to fully enjoy its complex aromatics and refined structure.
