Description

The 2012 Palmer Port Colheita is a distinguished single-harvest Tawny Port, carefully aged in seasoned oak casks to reflect the elegance and maturity of the 2012 vintage. Silky, balanced and complex, it offers immediate drinking pleasure while retaining the structure to age further in bottle. A fine choice for collectors and Port enthusiasts alike. Enjoy now or cellar until 2035+.

Tasting Notes:
Light amber with glints of copper. On the nose, aromas of dried apricot, orange peel, roasted hazelnuts and hints of vanilla. The palate is smooth and layered, with flavours of fig, toffee, caramel and subtle spice, supported by refreshing acidity. The finish is long, warming and nutty, leaving an elegant impression of dried fruits and oak.

Serving Tips & Storage
Colheita Ports are bottled ready to drink and do not require decanting. Best served slightly chilled (12–14°C) to highlight freshness and aromatic detail. A natural partner for almond cake, crème brûlée, roasted nuts or mature cheeses such as Manchego and Comté. Once opened, the bottle will keep well for several weeks if stored upright in a cool place. Store unopened bottles on their side, in a cool, dark environment away from heat and light.
