The 2013 Palmer Port Colheita is a single-harvest Tawny Port, patiently aged in seasoned oak casks to bring out the elegance and depth of the 2013 vintage. Rich, mellow and complex, this Colheita offers immediate drinking pleasure while also rewarding further cellaring. A refined choice for collectors and connoisseurs alike. Tasting Notes:
Light amber-tawny in colour with copper glints. The nose reveals notes of dried apricot, candied orange peel, walnuts and subtle vanilla. On the palate, flavours of fig, caramel and roasted hazelnut are lifted by fresh acidity, creating a balanced and elegant profile. The finish is smooth, nutty and persistent, leaving a warm impression of dried fruits and spice.
Serving Tips & Storage
Colheita Ports are bottled ready to drink and require no decanting. Best served slightly chilled (12–14°C) to enhance its delicate nutty aromas and freshness. Pair with almond tart, crème brûlée, roasted chestnuts or a fine selection of cheeses. Once opened, the wine will keep well for several weeks if stored upright in a cool environment. Please store unopened bottles on their side, in a cool, dark place away from heat and light.
