  • Description

Quevedo Tawny 20 Years Old is a delightful brown with amber nuances. On the nose there is an aroma of almonds, caramelized nuts with a slight hint of coconut. In the mouth it is soft and delicate, with a grape touch passes and soft caramel.

    *** 90 Points - Decanter ***
This 20 Year Old tawny port from Quevedo has a Brick red centre with a tawny rim. Fresh, youthful fruit-driven style, showing summer fruit. Quite, soft and delicate initially with superb persistence and breadth. Mellifluous length. Richard Mayson - Decanter

Aged in old 110-gallon barrels, this Port is at the sweet spot where fruit has almost disappeared and the mature old wood, spice and acidity come through along with hints of spirit. It is ready to drink. Roger Voss

    Blended by Cláudia.
Pale-mid tawny. Beautifully mellow nose of Christmas cake, old tobacco, walnut fudge and subtle fig notes – really classic tawny aromatics and without any spirity character. An appealing sweet intensity of dried red fruit, cinnamon and dark chocolate on the palate, with a molasses twist through the finish. Supple, suave and fine-grained. A hint more length would take this to greatness. (TJ) JancisRobinson.com
